Daily: trash, restrooms, kitchen, high-touch points, floors in busy areas. Weekly: full vacuum and mop, desks, glass, appliances. Monthly: baseboards, vents, high dusting. Quarterly: carpet extraction, upholstery, windows and floor care.

Florida-Specific Office Cleaning Tasks
- Humidity and mildew. Check restroom ceilings, AC closets and vents monthly — Florida offices grow mildew fast.
- Sand and grit. Entry mats and lobby floors near the coast need daily attention; grit wears flooring.
- Hard water. Descale faucets and glass weekly so scale does not set.
- Pollen season. Spring pollen settles on sills and vents — add extra dusting February to May.
Running a clinic or dental office? Healthcare spaces need more than this list — see medical and dental office cleaning requirements.
How to Check Your Cleaner's Work
- Walk the restrooms first thing in the morning — they show quality fastest.
- Run a finger along a baseboard and a vent once a month.
- Check under desks and behind doors where trash and dust collect.
- Keep this checklist as the agreed scope, and raise missed items the same day.

Frequently asked questions
Most offices with daily staff need cleaning 2–5 nights a week, with restrooms and kitchens covered every visit. Small offices with a handful of people often do well with 1–2 visits a week plus daily trash and wipe-downs by staff.
Daily cleaning keeps shared surfaces, restrooms, kitchens and floors under control. Deep cleaning — monthly or quarterly — covers vents, baseboards, upholstery, carpet extraction, behind furniture and high dusting.
After hours is usually best: no interruption, floors can dry, and nobody works around a vacuum. Restrooms in busy offices sometimes need a short daytime touch-up as well.
Yes. Mark which tasks you need and how often, and ask any company quoting the job to price exactly that list. It makes quotes comparable and gives you something to check the work against.
